Sydney part one
Sunday, December 29, 2013 @ 1:56 AM

From the 28th of November to the 7th of December, I went to Sydney!! I was hoping to lose more weight (in preparation for all the food I knew I was going to eat) before I went down.. but oh well #lifeainteasy. I caught the plane with Austin! He helped me book my ticket, so we picked him up and we went to the airport. We put our baggage aside and just chillaxed and ate around. And we decided to walk towards and gate and then... lo and behold... FINAL BOARDING CALL FOR OUR FLIGHT. We were in shock and so surprised. Like wtf?!?! We were just lounging around and eating BAHAHA. So basically we ran through the airport to our gate (which was literally at the furtherest corner of the airport).
Matt picked me up from the airport :)

I first visited his parents at his house, and then we went to check-in at my 'hotel.' I was honestly really surprised to book a hotel at such short notice and at such good rates.. but I'm not really sure if it's a hotel.. or rather a motel? Even though the name is Ibis Hotel. Anyways, I settled in and put all my stuff down and he took me to Canley Heights for some pho! I also had avocado shake!! I don't like avocados, but this drink was actually alright!

After pho, we went back to mine and I started getting ready for OPM at Marquee in the Star!!! Ahhh Sydney clubbing! I was keen as faaaaar. It was also exciting to know that my friend from Brisbane was going too!! We ended up going to OPM really really late! Like 1am? I think Sydney clubbing must start earlier than Brisbane clubbing, because that's usually when it starts, but in Sydney, it was in full swing. I wish I went earlier but it was still good. Matt shouted us some drinks hehe. And it was just dancing, so it was good :)
Omg, getting home was a nightmare. We decided to cab it. Basically cabbing from Star to Cabra is $$$$$$. So one hour later and $120 later, we were home. At least I didn't have to pay BAHAHA. But holy moly, that was an expensive cab ride.

The next day, the dent guys were kind enough to want to see me hehe. Leslie arranged it all! We ended up eating in Mamak.. they were all pressuring me to choose a place to eat, but I honestly don't know Sydney at all. Oh, I also met up with Andrew beforehand, since he had work and couldn't come. Anyways, we met up at Maccas and god damn it, the Maccas there was so classy looking. Oh my lord, who thought a Maccas could be classy. I wish I took pictures of it. Anyways, afterwards, we went to play pool!! We are horrible.
Afterwards, they all went home except Anthony and I. We went on a hunt for Lauderee macarons, however, when we finally found them.. they were ridiculously expensive (I was hoping to buy Matt's parents a gift), so Anthony and I had this crazy idea to walk to central station for Krispy Kremes BAHAH. It was good though, I got to walk through China Town! And lo and behold, at the station, we see, none other than Timstar! And he remembered me HAHAH #famous.

The same night, Matt and I went on a double date with his high school friend and girlfriend. We ate at 7 Spices I think.

STEREOSONIC.

This is the first time I've ever been to a festival and my gosh, it was sooo unbelievably good. I didn't know what to expect, but I didn't expect it to this amazing. I have never seen so many people in one place before all dancing to the same music in my life. Omg, it was so crazy. I loved it.
The day started really really early. Matt and I dropped off his cousins to the international airport as they were going back to Vietnam! I think we got up around 5am!! I think we stayed at the airport until like 9am? And afterwards, we weren't tired and so Matt took me to Westfields Liverpool! We went to find a stereo outfit for me and him! He bought the singlet in the following photos and I bought my shorts! We also ate Oportos and had a boost :3
We only left the house for stereo at 2.30? And we luckily bumped into the double date people from the night before and their friends!

Prepare for selfies.

It was so crazy. I can't even... There are actually so many people there. You won't find anyone, even if you have a designated spot to me, it's so hard to find people. But amazingly, I bumped into Matts friends!! And it was pretty good meeting some of his mates and just dancing to music. To be honest, I only knew 10% of songs that were played BAHAHA. But they all have that *doosh doosh* beat, so it's easy to dance. I lost my flower crown as well :(
Stereo gets even better at night. Oh my lord. It's sooo good. And there's fireworks at the end!!!

Stereosonic day 2. We decided to go to Westfields again because I didn't know what to wear! We ended up eating at... Reflections cafe? And I also bought a flower crown and a new pair of shorts! I couldn't finish it, because I have actually been eating so much food, it's crazy.

This day, we met up with Matts high school friends, and they're all quite nice but also quite.. naughty? Omg, also... Matt put me on his shoulders!!! It was soo cool!!! And I held hands with Matts friends girlfriend who was also on her boyfriends shoulder!! It was soo cool. It was so high up and I honestly felt like I was going to fall. I wish we got a picture of it.
Matt also bought us matching stereo jumpers bahaha.

The stereosonic night ended amazing.. with fireworks and David Guetta. But after.. wasn't too great. We went to the hospital and I was on an IV drip for around an hour. We left hospital around 4am because the wait was so long and the actual treatment was quite long too. He was such a sweetie for taking me to the hospital and staying with me and looking after me. He fell asleep... and I HAD to take selfies.

I met up with Austin that following night! I really wanted to try Holy Basil and their deep-fried icecream. But Matt insisted on coming AKA #invitedhimself BAHAHA. So why not! He can third wheel Austin and I. The food was really good! And Matt has been talking on and on about this strawberry shake and it tastes.. average HAHAH.
But omg, the deep fried ice-cream was amazing. Words can't even describe the incredible ecstasy your tastebuds go into. Omgsh. I regret sharing it with Matt and Austin. I would fly down to Sydney, just to have some of the deep fried icecream.

The next day, I met up with my Brisbane friends, Rose and Rachel!! We went to try out Devon cafe, another cafe and a Thai place for dinner... I can no longer remember the names. Basically all we did was eat, gossip, talk about our boyfriends and eat. It was really good. And we all explored Sydney together and literally walked around so much.

I can't remember when this was. But I think it was the next day! We explored Cabra and we did something at night, which I'll blog about next time :)
Ooh I also tried Gong Cha, I was disappointed by the Matcha Tea Latte equivalent of Cha Time :(
