On Friday night, I went to Girls Grammar Open Day with some of my high school friends, and their respective boyfriends. I regret not taking any photos, it totally escaped my mind! I didn't even buy any food! Moving on, it was amazing as usual. In a slightly corny way, I swell up with pride when I see the fairy lights in the garden, the white and blue balloons on the picket fence and the whole school alight and buzzing with people. I just think, I went to this school :3I also met up with my second cousin, whose currently in grade 10 and she asked me for advice on what subjects to choose and UMAT preparation. Hh3h3h3 someone asked for my advice #proudmoment :')
I only had enough time to see my IT teachers... and they did not remember me /cry/
Afterwards, some of us grammar girls took our boyfriends for a quadruple date. And I am not even kidding, some of our boyfriends met for the first time.. and they got along better than us girls. We went to the Korean restaurant, Funny Funny in the city and Matt and I shared dishes with the opposing couple, Danni and James. It was a pretty fun night, surprisingly. So I'm definitely keen on doing a quadruple date again, or dare I say a pentagonal date. Honestly, the boys were talking about dota to gymming/protein powder to music/trance and getting along famously. We were joking that Danni found a half Asian version of Matt and Kelly found a Taiwanese version of Matt and vice versa - since they all got along so well. And so did Hasoon, the half Chinese version too :3
On Saturday (yesterday), mum and dad dragged me out to look at houses all morning. It was fun, but quite tiring and I felt guilty because I really needed to study/write up lectures. Afterwards, I got ready to go to the gold coast. I trained down around 1.45pm and Matt picked me up. We went home first so Matt could do his laundry, and then we went to the 24/7 library space at Griffith. And I surprisingly did some work! I wrote up my lectures!! I can't believe I actually studied with him.
We went home to get me a jumper because it was so cold, and I ended up looking quite bogan. And Matt surprised me by taking me to the best Thai restaurant in the gold coast - Chiang Mai Thai restaurant. And I'm not kidding, it won the award for Best Thai restaurant. Look at all those awards! And it was amazinggggg.
