I'm so behind on this blogging thing. Sigh.![]() |

I tried to surprise him. I really did.
Oh I forgot to say. On our drive to the Gold Coast, it was midnight! And so he was officially 22! We sang the Taylor Swift song together and I gave a little speech. Anyways, we were at the pokies machine and Matt really wasn't in the mood to gamble :(, so I said let's go back to the hotel, let's go upstairs. And I think he was pleased. Well I'm pretty sure he was happy. Yay.
I realised that Matt and I take a ridiculous amount of selfies. Hehehehe. So we went back downstairs and we tried almost everything! Except poker and pokies. I think we were up, and then this random guy gave us $10, and we were like Why not :3 But we played Casino War and in a series of unseen events, we lost everything HAHA. We went back up to our room and I gave him his present - 2 Sydney Stereosonic tickets.
We then went to his place to get his laptop to make the most out of the free wi-fi. We also went on a customary Macca's run. We watched Attack on Titan and the silly bum fell asleep. I think he slept at 6AM or something. And then I got super tired around 6.30 I think and I slept. I think I naturally woke at around 9.30am? And I wasn't even tired!!! I felt so alive and energetic. I kept trying to whack him awake but the poor little baby was too tired :3 I really really wanted to do the nose masks together - which strip away the blackheads and clean your pores. As we were doing it, he was so suspicious.. apparently, he could feel his skin burning..
After checking out, we had 'breakfast' (it was really lunch time), at Food Fantasy! It was so good. The desserts are amazing. Everything else is mediocre, I loved the potato bake, but the Pad Thai was disappointing (too dry) :(
We went back to his place afterwards and slept #slothlyf. We woke up and drove back to Sunnybank and he was really tired and so he couldn't really drive back. So I went home and told my mum I was going for a run with Cheng Cheh, but instead I met up with him at the park! It was really good. We just chilled and talked about life, and just sat back and relaxed. We talked about goals and and what he wanted to achieve since this is his 23rd year of life. And he drove back, and had dinner with his roomies.
I tried to give him the best, memorable birthday, and I hope I did.
